Unlikely Friends: Video Storytelling Launch

Four women standing together in front of a brick wall with a heart design in the middle that says "Meant to be", and the caption that says "we were awarded the grant!"

On global entrepreneurship week, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant to produce a video storytelling series, Unlikely Friends, in collaboration with Anshu Stephen, Gillian Williamson from Studio Lumen Photography & Videography, and Shannon Hutchison.

Unlikely Friends is about helping diverse groups of strangers dismantle stereotypes, and foster #empathy and understanding. The vision for this project started with the desire to harness the power of #storytelling to build bridges in an increasingly divided world. We are grateful to Calgary Arts Development for the opportunity to bring this vision to life, and leverage our collective skillsets as entrepreneurs, storytellers, photographers, videographer and trauma-informed coach. Stay tuned for launch updates and check out our website if you’d like to learn more – unlikelyfriends.ca.
