It takes confidence to share your authentic voice in a world that hasn’t always been welcoming of women’s voices, and especially Black women’s voices. We are honoured to have met Martina Mukete, Ado Nkemka, and Charlotte Ong’ang’a at our storytelling workshops, and take a journey together to publish their inspiring stories in Landed. And we can’t be happier that their voices continue to be elevated through CBC’s Calgary Eyeopener for Black History Month.

We hope you will take the opportunity to listen to Martina, Charlotte, and Ado’s interviews, and allow these diverse stories to expand your perspectives and empathy!
