The lens of meta-reflexivity helps shift the focus from “What should people do differently?” to “What is the system rewarding, discouraging, or making invisible?”

Throughout subsequent modules, you’ll encounter real stories grounded in lived experiences from the research with South Asian women in STEMM fields across Canada. These stories are not case studies with “right answers”, but invitations to practice meta-reflexivity by noticing: why researched barriers often go unseen or unnamed; how everyday systems and norms shape those barriers; where your role, decisions, or assumptions may influence what happens next.
