Welcome to our community.

As you may have guessed, this is not a camping site (although we do enjoy camping)! Established in 2020, we’re dedicated to the power of storytelling to activate belonging within organizations. As a social enterprise, we also reinvest in our communities through impactful storytelling projects, such as our bestselling anthology, Landed, radio-hosted podcast Hearth 2 Heart, and TV-featured docuseries, unLikely Friends.

If you've grappled with any of these concerns, you've come to the right place:

  • Feeling lost in the sea of diversity and inclusion topics?
  • Launched strategies or training only to see minimal impact?
  • Unsure how to capture both quantitative and qualitative data to track progress?
  • Burning out from trying to dismantle systemic barriers?
  • Stuck finding motivation for your team – or yourself – to embrace real change?
  • Wanting to tell your story and vision with impact, but it feels just out reach?
  • Frustrated by programs that seem more divisive than unifying ALL people together?
You’re not alone…it’s normal to feel hesitant or get disheartened by previous initiatives that fell short. But, there’s a better way to shift beyond compliance mindsets: by fostering a felt sense of belonging.

Why does Belonging matter?

Studies have found a dramatic increase in feelings of loneliness and isolation, especially since the pandemic.

Belonging begins with self-acceptance

We work with you to help you appreciate your unique strengths, stories, and reimagine your potential.

Demographic change

By 2041, 50% of Canada’s population will consist of first or second generation immigrants, 40% people of color, and 26% retirees.

Belonging expands to includes others

Connecting on common values is key to building trust. We’ll equip you with empathy skills wherever you live, work, or study.

Belonging matters because the pace of change is unprecedented. Organizations today are expected to be purpose-driven, navigating complex global issues.

Belonging results in a shared purpose

Through stories, we create ripples that bridge us from ‘me to we,’ empowering teams to innovate, thrive, and belong to a larger mission.
